Invitation
Every moment and every event of everyone’s life on earth plants something in their soul. For just as the wind carries thousands of winged seeds, so each moment brings with it germs of spiritual vitality that come to rest imperceptibly in the minds and wills of us all. Most of these unnumbered seeds perish and are lost, because we are not prepared to receive them: for such seeds as these cannot spring up anywhere except in the good soil of freedom, spontaneity and love. – Thomas Merton–
Here at Heartseeds we offer Spiritual Direction and Somatic Prayer as ways to pay attention to what arises from these seeds that the Divine One plants in our hearts and being. Believing that God wants us to be whole, we are all in the process of becoming. Whether brokenness is in body, mind or spirit, is relational or situational, healing is the process that reconciles these parts to their original health or intention. Spiritual Direction offers a prayerful space where together the companion and Director enter a sacred space that invites the Spirit’s presence to the healing conversation.
